Even more hard work has been done, especially to prepare for the winter months and secure the house to ensure its safety against the elements. Below are some photos documenting some of the exciting progress that’s been happening here.
Window trim going in on the east side of the house.
And here’s a good view of it finished up now!
Also showing of the trim on the west side windows.
Front of the house featuring completed windows and repaired siding.
Floor in and getting sanded.
Floors getting finished and sealed.
Done and beautiful!
There’s a lot to be done still, but you can see here some of the internal work of one of the walls coming out.
Just a few of the many materials being used throughout this project.
A lot has gotten packed into a rented storage unit for the winter, to preserve the integrity of the materials.
Shed siding also got taken care of, so it’s much more resistant to the wind and rain.
In addition to the house itself, a lot of the land and landscaping needs work. This is a stump, close to the shed, that had to come out, and it took some heavy hauling to get it cleared.
And even the basement is closed up, a huge accomplishment before the major snows come in.

There has been a lot of work going on with the house! We’re working to finish installing the windows, each of which takes an immense amount of labor and planning, as well as unique materials, due to the age and structure of the house. As you can see below, we’ve made tremendous progress, and we have a few glimpses of the process itself.
Sides of house before window installation (you can also see the damage the siding has taken from the weather).
Below you can see some of the internal workings to get this done. A lot of materials and labor to ensure the windows are properly and securely installed.
Freshly installed windows, and a view of the front of the house with windows done. Such a big difference!
