“We would like to create a registry for people struggling with Environmental Illness. The first purpose is to create a list to contact people for a number of different reasons – such as asking people to support a possible bill, asking for help on the housing site, or just to keep folks up to date on our slow but steady progress. This information would be kept private and only used within our organization. Never outside the organization.

The second purpose for the registry is to be able to create a spreadsheet to illustrate how many people in each county in NYS are sick with EI as well as how many can’t find affordable and accessible housing and/or adequate medical care.  These numbers are how we move people from thinking EI doesn’t apply to them to understanding that it does affect their local community.”
